In the heart of Belgium, where 17 300 dedicated firefighters reside, a unique section of its kind emerges: THE “ART”, the Animal Rescue Team. This exceptional team specializes in animal rescue, intervening with expertise and determination.

The members of the ART are firefighters who have the vocation of helping animals, facing dangerous and unimaginable situations.

In the ART team, each mission reveals that anything is possible. The team has already rescued more than 1000 species. This can range from domestic animals, exotics and even wild ones. All of these species may one day experience distress. And for the Animal Rescue Team, every life deserve to be saved.
